I am painting with Acrylics and I find they dry very fast and before I know it my blobs have turned to rocks, but it feels so nice to be painting again after all the years on the computer. I just love the new collage techniques.
I never really did much with collage and I think I have a new passion. Mixed media is just wonderful. When I was in grade school I was constantly making collages out of magazines. I have all these papers around and bits of this and that. It is so nice to bring it all together and create in a different way…so much fun.

well your paintings are just lovely and i feel EXACTLY the same way, i feel like i have been waiting until to just paint paint paint! i’m not only painting in my journal but doing little paintings on the side! 🙂
